In March of this year Melbourne City Council tabled a draft CBD parking plan (incorporating Docklands) focussing on the issues of sustainability and on-street parking in Melbourne towards 2020.

Secure Parking organised a briefing from Council with key clients and stakeholders. Some weeks later those stakeholders re-convened with significant contribution from Council’s Team Leader Engineering Services to give direct feedback on the plan. From this meeting further ideas were generated and Secure Parking set about writing a submission to Council.

Secure’s submission is summarised in 15 recommendations to make Melbourne a better place to live, park and move around.
