The importance of making a good impression

Posted on Monday, November 02, 2015 at 8:12 AM

We all know first impressions count and that getting it wrong can really go work against us in business, but why does arriving all sweaty and flustered to a meeting outweigh all the times you arrive on time unflustered.

We all have internal scales that rank the ‘out of the ordinary’ far higher than the ‘typical and ordinary’. Therefore, because most people get it right or behave well most of the time on our internal scales the occasions that we behave badly, get it wrong or create a poor impression stand out and weigh more tipping the scales in a negative direction.

Monthly Parking Suit

Changing that perception becomes far harder moving forwards and requires another untypical and an extra ordinary event on the positive side to out- weight the previous negative.

With most of us getting it right and behaving well most of the time, finding the extraordinary on the positive side is far harder.Whilst weWe e can’t help with most things inyou with your day-to-day business, but we can give you parking solutions to make it easy to arrive at work organised and not suffering from the effects the summer months on the arm pits!
