Parking Information

Parking is easy at Sydney Olympic Park (SOP).  

There are 10,000 parking bays in Sydney Olympic Park and casual parking is available at a maximum of $20 per day.

All car parks at SOP are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  If the car park is not staffed, please use an automatic pay station to pay your parking fee.

Parking Rates

The following parking rates apply at P1, P2, P3, P4 and P5.

  • 0 - 1 hour $4.00
  • 1 - 2 hours $8.00
  • 2 - 3 hours $12.00
  • 3 - 4 hours $16.00
  • 4 + hours $20.00

For all major events at Sydney Olympic Park, that require a public transport overlay there is a $20 flat parking fee.

Events designated to attract this flat fee are at the discretion of SOPA.

Accessable parking is available at all staffed structured car parks for $10.00 on production of a valid Mobility Parking Scheme Authority from the RTA.  

Keep a copy of your permit as the original needs to be displayed in your car at all times.

Non Structured Car Parks

There are several non-structured car parks located throughout SOP.  

These are situated opposite the Sydney Showground (P6F access via Australia Avenue), on the northern side of the SOP Railway Station (P6E access via Murray Rose Avenue), opposite the Commonwealth Bank Building (P6D access via Parkview Drive), opposite the Novotel Hotel (P6H access via Herb Elliott Avenue), opposite the SOP Sports Centre (P3A access via Olympic Boulevard) and Dawn Fraser Avenue West opposite ANZ Stadium (P6DF)

These car parks are 'Pay & Display'.  The same rates apply to these car parks as with the structured car parks.  However, the 'Pay & Display' machines only take coins.  There are change machines located strategically in P6F, P3A and P6DF.

When attending events at Sydney Olympic Park, use the car parks listed below, or follow the Variable Message Sign to your designated car park.

ANZ Stadium:  P1, then P3, P4 & P5

Acer Arena:  P1

Sydney Showground:  P1 & P6F

Royal Easter Show:  P1, P2, P3, P4 & P5

SOP Athletic Centre:  P1 & P2

SOP Aquatic Centre:  P2 & P3

SOP Sports Centre:  P3 & P4

SOP Hockey Centre:  P4

International Tennis Centre:  P3 then P4

Overflow Park:  P1

Pre Book your Parking

It is recommended that you pre-book your parking ticket for major events at Sydney Olympic Park

To pre-book your parking ticket call Ticketek on 132 849 or visit their web-site at www.ticketek.com.au.  The cost of pre-booked parking is $20.00 plus transaction fee inclusive of GST.

Please note that you will need to pre-book at least 7 working days in advance to allow for delivery by mail.

On arrival at your designated car park have your pre-booked parking ticket ready to insert into the boom gate pedestal. Your parking ticket will be returned to you so that you may use it again on exit, when it will be retained.

Driving to Sydney Olympic Park

At times of major events the most direct route may not necessarily be the quickest way to arrive at your designated car park, particularly if you try to enter the site from Australia Avenue. If you have purchased a pre-booked parking ticket follow the directions below to your designated car park. If you do not have a pre-booked parking ticket follow the directions to the next available casual car park as shown on the VMS (Variable Message Sign) signs on entry to the site. These signs are located on the Australia Avenue, Hill Road and Holker Street entries to Sydney Olympic Park.

Driving to P1
From the North, go via Victoria Road, Silverwater Road, Holker Street, Hill Road, then Old Hill Link.
From the West, go via the M4 Motorway or Parramatta Road, Hill Road, then Old Hill Link.
From the South, go via Centenary Drive, Parramatta Road, Hill Road, then Old Hill Link.
From the City/East go via Parramatta Road, Hill Road, then Old Hill Link.

Driving to P3
From the North go via Homebush Bay Drive, Australia Ave, then Sarah Durack Avenue.
From the West go via M4 Motorway or Parramatta Road, Homebush Bay Drive, Australia Avenue, then Sarah Durack Avenue.
From the South go via Centenary Drive, Homebush Bay Drive, Australia Avenue, then Sarah Durack Avenue.
From the City/East go via Parramatta Road, M4 Motorway, Homebush Bay Drive, Australia Avenue, then Sarah Durack Avenue.

Driving to P4
From the North go via Victoria Road, Silverwater Road, Parramatta Road, Birnie Avenue, then Edwin Flack Avenue.
From the West go via Parramatta Road, Birnie Avenue, then Edwin Flack Avenue.
From the South go via Centenary Drive, Parramatta Road, Birnie Avenue, then Edwin Flack Avenue.
From the City/East go via Parramatta Road, Birnie Avenue, then Edwin Flack Avenue.

Driving to P5
From the North, go via Victoria Road, Silverwater Road, Holker Street, then Hill Road.
